  • Solutions Consultant — North America

    Your Role

    The Solutions Consultant plays a critical role in value creation and revenue-generating activities by virtue of their involvement in pre/post sales end-user customer engagement. The Solutions Consultant is an expert at understanding the customer’s business challenges and articulating a vision of a solution to those challenges using the Digital Lumens, Inc. portfolio of products.

    The Solutions Consultant is at the same time a technical wizard and a storyteller who can engage their audience in a discussion of the potential to realize value for their business and growth for their career while building sales and account relationship momentum. What’s more, the Solution Consultant has a learning mindset that enables them to read and react to the situation, displaying the situation fluency to engage customers up and down their organization, and bring back those learnings to inform product roadmaps and advance sales enablement.

    Key areas of accountability: Solution Selling, Application Deployment, Customer Success, Market and Customer trends and insights to inform product roadmap and Sales Enablement.

    This position is North America-based. You’ll travel between 30-50% of the time, primarily within North America.

    Your Responsibilities

    • Development and implementation, in coordination with the regional sales manager and Value-Added Reseller (VAR) partner network, of the solutions selling strategy for end-user customers. Training, mentoring and developing the partner network along the way.
    • Understand Digital Lumens, Inc.’s strategic and competitive position to drive market adoption of Digital Lumens’ industry-leading solutions and leverage stakeholder insights, market analysis, and company priorities in driving customer engagement and winning business for existing and new to the world products.
    • Collect customer insights via site audits to understand lighting, monitoring, metering, and asset tracking requirements that can be used in the design of implementations to achieve targeted business and operational outcomes and then work with VAR partners to deploy the solutions and ensure they deliver the results.
    • Use and enhance existing and develop new tools to support the economic value assessment of deploying Digital Lumens, Inc. products for process and environmental monitoring and metering and asset tracking (people, goods, equipment) for specific customer facilities. Use these insights to support selling activities and assess the achievement of customer outcomes after deployment.

  • Technical Support Engineer — Boston

    Your Role

    We are looking for a highly motivated, hands-on team member to join us as a Technical Support Engineer providing technical and operational support to our global customers and partners. You will resolve customer technical issues through diligent research, replication of the problem, and troubleshooting. The Technical Support Engineer team works closely with our Engineering, Sales, and Product Management teams to ensure that we deliver superior products, service, and support to our customers. As a member of the Technical Support team, your primary responsibilities include network and hardware troubleshooting and developing technical solutions for various users around the world. This position is at the heart of our customer-focused philosophy, and so your primary goal will be to provide excellent customer service to all of our customers and partners.     Your Responsibilities

    • Provide first-line diagnostic/troubleshooting support and technical expertise to answer customer questions, troubleshoot, and resolve specific product-related issues while maximizing customer satisfaction.

    Your Role

    The Technical Support Engineer plays a critical role in delivering on our promises of Customer, Value, Easy, and, Learning.

    Based in our Markham, Canada (GTA – Greater Toronto Area) location, the Technical Support Engineer combines their technical expertise and Encelium systems proficiency with a customer-centric view of the world to ensure that all customer issues that reach them are resolved promptly, with respect and empathy.

    The Technical Support Engineer’s focus is to ensure that all our customers realize value from the Encelium system. Learning is essential to the Technical Support Engineer as they are both a teacher and a student; regularly coaching and training our customers to be more self-sufficient while also continuously learning the application of the Encelium system and related controls and networking technologies.

    What’s more, this learning mindset enables the Technical Support Engineer to read and react to the situation, displaying the situational fluency to engage customers up and down their organization and bring back those learnings to inform product roadmaps and advance commissioning activities.

  • Regional Sales Manager — EMEA

    Your Role

    You’ll be a member of the Digital Lumens, Inc. International sales team and report to the Head of Digital Lumens, Inc. International, based in Europe. This team is responsible for sales and sales support (design, commissioning services, and support) in Europe, the Middle East, APAC, and Latin America.

    The primary responsibility of this role is to create value for our customers. We want to alleviate customer pain points via design and application solutions stemming from our wide range of lighting products, including Light Management Systems (Encelium – www.encelium.com) and Industrial Lighting & Facility Insight Solutions (Digital Lumens – www.digitallumens.com).

    As the Regional Sales Manager EMEA, you will manage and fuel sales for significant customers in the commercial segment (offices/hospitals/education) as well as in the Industrial segment (manufacturing, warehousing, transportation, food processing, cold storage). You will work closely with our Value-Added Reseller network to secure and realize projects.

    In this position, you’ll be responsible for the sales revenue results and development of the commercial sales channel of your defined area in the EMEA region, working and coordinating with existing and potential Value-Added Resellers, end-users, specifiers, and OEM partners.

    Other important areas of your work include CRM, pricing, product strategy execution, promotion management, distribution structure, and brand development. We are looking for a self-driven, entrepreneurial person who understands what it takes to drive growth in a project business environment.

    Your Responsibilities

    • Responsible for sales development and results in the assigned region.
    • Develop a sales plan to deliver agreed targets, deliver bottom-line results, and agreed-to-margin with long-term project planning and deliver on short-term goals.

  • Electrical Engineer — Boston

    Your Role

    As an Electrical Engineer, you will be part of our local Boston-based, tightly-knit inter-disciplinary team of engineers developing the world’s most intelligent and energy-efficient lighting control systems. 

    Your Responsibilities

    • You'll be responsible for the electrical design for a family of solid-state LED luminaires, lighting controls, and wireless sensors.
    • You'll design, test, and debug complex electrical systems. 
    • You'll have ownership of all product development phases, including specification, design, testing, documentation, manufacturing, and support. 

    Your Qualifications and Skills

    What we would like
    • You'll need a BS in Electrical Engineering; Master's degree desired.
    • You have experience designing electronics for high-volume applications.

  • Inside Sales Representative — North America

    Your Role

    As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll be tasked to identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities through several partnerships. You will work closely with our Digital Lumens and Encelium brands sales representatives in in-person and video conference calls to develop territory sales strategies. You will also work with third-party channels to drive our pipeline and business through a series of in-person and remote training. As part of the sales process, you will identify key decision-makers, profile accounts, assess revenue potential, and assist in closing deals.
    Successful candidates will have an entrepreneurial mentality combined with an analytical and data-centric approach. They will enjoy reaching out to prospects and partners to drive business.
